Special Talents Entirety Program (S.T.E.P.)
Special Talents Entirety Program (S.T.E.P.) is an inclusive coed therapeutic recreation dance program offered through Douglasville Parks & Recreation. The program is designed for youth with intellectual or physical disabilities and/or developmental delays and provides adaptive opportunities to build movement, rhythm, coordination, confidence, social interaction, and self-expression. Program skill areas include Street Rhythm, an urban fusion of jazz and hip-hop, and Cheer Dance, which combines dance and cheer in a high-energy format.
